In this post, you will find a Quranic dua that may, by the mercy of Allah, help bring relief from financial and marital difficulties in your marriage. This dua is based on Surah Al-Fatihah, verse 4:
Iyyaka Na’budu Wa Iyyaka Nasta’een
“You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help.”
Reciting this blessed verse with sincerity can be a source of comfort and spiritual support for both husband and wife.
Marriage is built on love, trust, patience, and mutual respect. However, misunderstandings, anger, a lack of trust, financial pressure, or family issues can sometimes create problems between spouses. During such times, many couples feel worried and unsure about how to improve their relationship.
Islam teaches us to turn to Allah first in every difficulty. He is the One who brings hearts together, increases love, and makes every hardship easier. Therefore, if problems arise in married life, sincerely making dua to Allah through the words “Iyyaka Na’budu Wa Iyyaka Nasta’een” and remaining patient is one of the best ways for a Muslim to seek His help.
For spiritual support during marital difficulties, it can be beneficial to recite “Iyyaka Na’budu Wa Iyyaka Nasta’een” frequently after each obligatory prayer. Some respected Islamic scholars have also recommended a wazifa using this Quranic verse, which is explained below.

Wazifa to Fix Marriage Problems

arabic Iyakanabudu wa iyyāka Nastaeen

If misunderstandings, arguments, or emotional distance have developed between husband and wife, they should avoid believing negative comments from others without verification. Instead, both spouses should listen to each other with patience and understanding. Patience often becomes a means through which Allah brings positive change and resolves even very difficult situations.
If sincere efforts to improve the relationship have not been successful, some scholars recommend the following wazifa using the words “Iyyaka Na’budu Wa Iyyaka Nasta’een”:
On Thursday night, after performing Isha prayer, recite Durood Sharif 10 times.
Then recite “Iyyaka Na’budu Wa Iyyaka Nasta’een” 700 times with sincerity and complete attention.
Finally, recite Durood Sharif another 10 times to complete the wazifa.
Continue this practice for at least 14 consecutive days. By the will of Allah, positive changes and opportunities for reconciliation may begin to appear during this period, and love and understanding between husband and wife may increase.
It is important to remember that the benefit of any wazifa depends entirely on Allah’s will. A person should perform it with sincere faith, patience, regular prayer, and trust in Allah, while also making practical efforts to improve the relationship through kindness, communication, and mutual respect.
If a sister is unable to perform this wazifa consistently or does not have enough time, some people also choose to keep a ta’wiz containing selected Quranic verses at home as a personal spiritual reminder. Its benefit is believed to depend solely on Allah’s permission, and it should never be regarded as a guaranteed solution or a substitute for sincere dua, regular worship, and positive efforts to strengthen the marriage.
